Me, myself and I

Welcome.

Hi, my name is Valérie Gillet. 

 

I am trained as a translator, copywriter, project manager, French and English teacher, trainer, and coach. 

​

I’ve been working in this sector from the end of my long and eclectic studies in 2005.

​

I am a full member of the Belgian Chamber of Translators and Interpreters.

​​​

I also studied law and I often translate legal documents and am a certified legal translator/interpreter.

​

I’ve been translating, writing, editing and managing projects for:

  • European and international NGOs and bodies

  • European and public communication agencies

  • Private companies

  • Cultural bodies

  • Translation agencies

  • Publishing companies

  • Private citizens

  • Friends and family (as all freelancers are doomed to do)
